Regional Sales Director, MCS

Abbott seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead the Medical Cardiac Surgery (MCS) division across a multi-state territory. The role involves managing clinical and market development teams, driving therapy adoption and revenue targets, and overseeing sales strategy execution in the heart failure treatment space.

Responsibilities

Develop regional strategic plans to meet revenue, profitability, and market penetration goals
Lead and coach clinical and market development teams through field visits and performance measurement
Design and execute therapy adoption programs to increase eligible patient referrals to physicians
Oversee regional training strategies and market development plans to equip sales teams
Manage talent acquisition, development, and performance within the region

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 5 years medical device industry experience
3–5 years sales leadership experience, preferably medical devices
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated quota attainment and performance metrics management
Strong verbal and written communication at multiple organizational levels
Ability to manage P&L and operate in matrixed, geographically diverse environments
