Role Description The Senior Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Metairie, LA. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include leading project teams, managing schedules, coordinating materials and equipment, and maintaining communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The Senior Project Manager monitors progress, resolves issues, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role also prepares project reports, supports forecasting and resource allocation, and mentors team members to promote consistent project delivery and continuous improvement. Qualifications Strong project management skills, including project management experience leading complex mechanical or construction projects. Experience with expediting activities, including expeditor responsibilities and expediting to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Knowledge of inspection processes, including inspection oversight to verify quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications. Logistics management skills to coordinate personnel, materials, and equipment across multiple project sites. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contract requirements, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and developing project teams in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
