We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a part-time contract basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our cutting-edge projects and make a significant impact in a flexible work environment.As a Part-Time Contract Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:Design and Development: Collaborate with our design team to develop mechanical systems and components. Create detailed mechanical designs and drawings using CAD software. Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and safety requirements.Project Management: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project manager.Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct tests and analyses to ensure product reliability and performance. Implement quality control measures and troubleshoot any issues that arise.Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers. Provide clear and concise reports and presentations to stakeholders.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. Propose and implement improvements to existing products and processes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with manufacturing processes and quality control.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in the manufacturing industry.Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
