About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Acute Care Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty with 1 travel assignment License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with Meditech preferred Description: Strict 75-mile radius from the traveler's driver's license address to the hospital. Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required. Ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights. Nurse aides and CNAs are available on the unit. The general orientation includes EMR training. Shifts run from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Every other weekend and holidays as needed. Registered nurses may float to all acute care areas. Housing options are available that are gated, safe, clean, and regularly have availability. The area has a population of 80,000. Proximity to nearby cities is within a reasonable distance.
