Location: Hamilton, OH (Onsite)

Schedule Options1st Shift

Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM-4:00 PM

• Overtime opportunities available on Fridays

4th Shift

Friday-Sunday | 6:00 AM-6:00 PM

Compensation

$24.00-$26.00/hr

+$3.00/hour shift differential for 4th Shift

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring experienced MIG/TIG Welders to support a leading manufacturer in Hamilton, OH. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers competitive pay, stable hours, and a clear path to long-term career growth.

We are seeking skilled welders with experience in aluminum and structural steel welding who are committed to quality, safety, and precision craftsmanship.

What You'll Do

• Perform precision MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and structural steel components

• Weld material ranging from .063" to 3/8" thickness

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

• Set up and adjust welding fixtures and equipment

• Operate framing and metalworking equipment, including shears and brakes

• Utilize plasma arc cutting equipment and laser measuring tools as needed

• Conduct weld inspections and support weld testing processes, including dye penetrant testing

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Partner with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing goals

• Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with training when needed

Required Qualifications

• 1-5 years of structural steel welding experience

• AWS D1.1 Welding Certification

• Hands-on experience with aluminum MIG and TIG welding

• Experience with weld testing methods, including dye penetrant testing

• Proficiency operating plasma arc cutting equipment and laser measuring tools

• Experience with framing and metalworking equipment, including shears and brakes

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Basic math, measurement, and fabrication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Previous fabrication or manufacturing experience

• Experience using welding fixtures and fabrication equipment

• Prior mentoring or training experience

• Additional welding certifications are a plus

Physical Requirements

• Stand and work for extended periods

• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and lifting

• Lift and move materials weighing 30+ pounds

• Work comfortably in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures

Pay Details: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour
