Field Inventory Auditor

Verify merchandise and cash in Company stores through physical counts using a handheld computer Notify store managers of incorrect prices and remove out-of-code merchandise Count and record cash, checks, food stamps, register contents, TACC tubes, and safe contents Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory, and bank deposits Verify gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water Conduct surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures Follow safety procedures, rules, and regulations Work independently with little supervision Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment Valid driver’s license with no major offenses Current liability car insurance Ability to work independently with little supervision Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs Occasional overnight travel may be required Core Competencies Demonstrates strong inventory auditing skills and the ability to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
