About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will lead the finance function through operational improvements, modernize financial systems, and work closely with various teams to align financial planning with the organization's mission and funding strategy. Candidates for the CFO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree and CPA preferred. Essential skills include expertise in accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit leadership, particularly within multi-source funding environments. The CFO should have a proven track record in leading financial strategy, be a trusted advisor to executive leadership, and have experience in organizational change and team development. Deep operational and financial management expertise, including grant financial oversight and risk mitigation, is required. The role demands the ability to operate in fast-paced environments, with a focus on performance and a mission-aligned mindset. Experience in housing, homelessness services, or other grant-funded environments is a plus, as is familiarity with federal grant compliance frameworks.
