About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to be its first in this pivotal role, with a focus on building and leading the finance function from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including owning the financial strategy, preparing for fundraising, managing the investor data room, and establishing scalable financial systems. This role is particularly suited to a strategic leader with a hands-on approach, who is comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and can directly impact the company's growth and financial success. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of experience in finance, with at least 2 years' in fintech, crypto, Web3, payments, or digital banking. The role requires a deep understanding of financial operations in these sectors, including experience with structured credit, liquidity facilities, and fundraising. The ideal candidate will have a background in a VC-backed startup and be adept at building financial models, managing unit economics, and ensuring transparent financial reporting. Strong communication skills, both with investors and within the company, are essential, as is the ability to work closely with the CEO and founding team. The CFO will also be involved in coordinating with legal, product, and compliance teams on various financial aspects of the business.
