Role Description The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cleveland, OH, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, managing expense reports, and ensuring timely and accurate payments in accordance with company policies and procedures. Day-to-day tasks include reconciling accounts payable transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, resolving invoice discrepancies, and maintaining organized records for audit and reporting purposes. The specialist collaborates with finance and accounting team members, communicates with internal departments and vendors, and supports month-end and year-end close activities. This position requires attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and consistent adherence to financial controls and compliance standards. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Accounts Payable processes, including Expense Reports and vendor invoice management Solid Analytical Skills to review transactions, identify discrepancies, and support accurate financial reporting Foundational knowledge of Finance principles and practices relevant to payables and cash disbursements Applied Accounting skills, including preparing and posting Journal Entries (Accounting) and supporting period-end close Experience with accounting or ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems) High level of accuracy, organization, and time management in a fast-paced environment Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience Prior experience in an accounts payable or general accounting role is strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Jumpstart
