Head of Growth - Global Ventures

As Head of Growth, you will help drive sales performance across the division while taking direct commercial responsibility for particular events. This is a hands-on, player-coach role: you will actively sell, manage important client relationships and close key deals, while also helping to lead, motivate and develop the wider sales team. You will work with divisional leadership and event teams to set commercial priorities, strengthen sales standards and improve performance across the portfolio. Although your day-to-day selling may be focused on a particular show, your experience, leadership and influence will support revenue growth across the whole division. As part of your job, you'll: Take direct responsibility for the sales performance, pipeline and forecast of an assigned event Remain hands-on in prospecting, pitching, negotiating and closing new and repeat business Lead, motivate and develop salespeople across the division, helping to build a consistent, high-performance culture Coach team members through regular feedback, deal reviews, call support and practical sales training Support event leaders in setting sales plans, priorities and performance expectations Monitor divisional sales performance, identifying risks, opportunities and areas requiring additional focus Step into priority accounts or complex negotiations where senior commercial support is needed Build strong relationships with new, existing and strategically important clients Grow client value through renewals, upselling, cross-selling and opportunities across the wider portfolio Share effective sales practices, market insight and client intelligence across event teams Work closely with marketing, product and operations to improve propositions, deliver successful launches and achieve strong client outcomes Contribute to the division's wider commercial strategy and long-term revenue growth Here's what we're looking for from you: Experience Required Experience in senior B2B sales roles, with significant exposure to enterprise or strategic account management Proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of high-value, complex accounts Strong experience leading teams and coaching to reach ambitious goals Demonstrable success in securing multi-year renewals and expanding share of wallet Consistent overachievement of revenue targets within a key account or enterprise sales environment Experience building C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships within global organisations Skilled in consultative selling and partnership development Strong market awareness and ability to identify emerging commercial opportunities within key sectors Experience selling exhibition space,sponsorship or integrated marketing solutions Managed teams to deliver integrated/complex products or services for customers. Developed working relationships with remote or international stakeholders.
