What You'll Do
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve swallowing, communication, and cognitive functions
- Assist residents with communication techniques to enhance understanding and interaction
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care
- Document progress and modify plans as needed according to regulatory standards
- Educate residents and families about speech and communication health
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
What You Need
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas
- Experience working in Long Term Care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
