Human Resources Director

Job Description Job Description The Director of Human Resources is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of HR practices, and the ability to drive organizational change.
Duties
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Oversee recruitment processes, including HR sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
Manage employee benefits administration and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
Utilize data analysis skills to assess HR metrics and improve workforce planning.
Lead change management initiatives to support organizational growth and development.
Maintain and manage the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee records.
Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop strategies for talent acquisition.
Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to address concerns and promote a positive work environment.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in human resources management.
Skills
Strong Compliance and Employee safety experience
Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate fit for various roles.
Excellent data analysis skills to interpret HR metrics and inform decision-making.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations to ensure workplace safety compliance.
Expertise in change management practices to facilitate smooth transitions during organizational shifts.
Experience in benefits administration, ensuring employees understand their options and entitlements.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster effective relationships across the organization.
Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques to attract top talent in a competitive market.
