Support Technician
Location: Charleston, SC
Pay Rate: $21.15-$26.60/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 4:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a Technology Support Specialist to provide technical support for computer and telecommunications systems across multiple customer locations. This role is responsible for hardware and software support, equipment deployment, inventory management, troubleshooting, and end-user training. Travel between customer sites is required using your personal vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, and telecommunications systems.
• Perform equipment exchanges and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Install software, deploy program updates, and configure new equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Train end users on supported hardware and software applications from both a technical and user-focused perspective.
• Document support activities and maintain accurate service records.
• Support *** Core Technology solutions and technology infrastructure at *** Small Package, Freight, and SCS locations.
• Prioritize multiple service requests while working independently with minimal supervision.

Travel

• Required using one's personal vehicle to provide Technology Support for Customers and to support technology infrastructure.
• Mileage reimbursement

Education/Certification:

• Associates Degree in Computer Science or Bachelors preferred
• A+ certification preferred

Proficient/Advance Skills

• Microsoft Office Access, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, and decision making skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to prioritize daily tasks
