MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and our local client are NOW HIRING a 1st Shift Production Operator in the Park 100 area of Indianapolis!

Position: Production Operator
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Mandatory weekend overtime as needed
Pay: $19.00/hour
Location: Park 100 – Indianapolis, IN

Job Summary

We are looking for dependable and motivated Production Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate production equipment, perform machine setup and changeovers, maintain quality standards, and help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment according to On-the-Job Training (OJT) and standard operating procedures.

• Perform machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.

• Maintain 6S workplace organization and cleanliness standards.

• Keep production areas clean, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing equipment, and disposing of materials properly.

• Assist the Line Lead with daily production activities.

• Monitor product quality, including traceability codes, trilingual labels, and GHS pictograms.

• Complete flushing processes according to work instructions.

• Fill containers and monitor production flow.

• Rotate to other production lines as needed.

• Perform manual production tasks such as:

  • Stacking cases on pallets

  • Loading bottles and empty boxes

  • Loading label rolls onto production lines

• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to interpret equipment gauges and machine indicators.

• Ability to understand written work instructions and safety procedures in English.

• Commitment to working safely and maintaining productivity.

• Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends when required.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Frequent standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.

• Perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

• In some areas, climb stairs frequently.

• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Employees may be required to wear:

• Safety glasses (eye protection)

• Hearing protection (required in designated areas)

• Safety footwear (required in designated areas)
