Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Texas SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing speech services in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering communication skills among students at various grade levels
- Flexibility to adjust to caseload and assignment as determined by district needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized therapy plans for students with communication disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy for students across grade levels (caseloads and age groups to be assigned)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with federal and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for eligibility and goal development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
- Support a positive educational experience for every child served
