Job Overview

• Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center  
• Reason for Coverage : Loss of provider
• Shift :  M-F 8:30a-4:30p
• Availability : 4 week availability each month, with 4 days of availability each week - must be able to work for at least 6 month initial contract
• Call Schedule : No call during locum period; call expected if placed perm; call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks
• Call Ratio : No call during locum period; call expected if placed perm; call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks
• Patient Population for Required Coverage : Adult, Geriatric
• What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Internal Medicine % : 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology, 0% internal medicine
• Number of Physicians in Practice : 7
• How Many APPs Provide Coverage : 6
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT : 25
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding ): 20
• Clinical Area : Oncology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Inpatient Setting
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• Required Duties:  Participation on a Tumor Board, Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes
• Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist
