Nurse Cath Lab

Overview The Cardiac Cath Lab at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center plays a critical role within the Cardiac Service Line of Excellence, supporting the Heart & Vascular Institute. The Cath Lab is located on the 2nd floor of the Heart Lung Tower and consists of 4 rooms plus a Hybrid room, providing diagnostic and interventional services for a patient population including pacemakers, AICD, electrophysiology procedures, TAVR, Mitral Clip, and LAAO. Responsibilities Expert Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to Cath Lab patients, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care. Critical Assessment & Intervention: Proficiently assess patient conditions, recognize and adapt to changes (e.g., lab values, vitals), and perform timely, clinically appropriate interventions. Prioritization & Organization: Skillfully organize and prioritize complex patient care activities to ensure efficient and effective delivery while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Collaborative Communication: Clearly communicate with physicians and other providers, and ensure a seamless nurse-to-nurse handoff at the bedside. Patient Advocacy & Ethics: Serve as a dedicated advocate for patient needs, demonstrating holistic care practices and upholding high ethical standards in all aspects of practice. Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BSN) and one year recent acute care experience, upon hire Pay Range: $35.00 - $58.63 /hour #J-18808-Ljbffr Dignity Health
