Technical Recruiter

Position: Technical Recruiter Company: r.Potential Location: Remote within California, with a strong preference for candidates based in the greater San Francisco Bay Area who can attend periodic in-person team-building events with minimal travel expense. About the role We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter to help us build the team behind r.Potential. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting for engineering, data, infrastructure, security, and product roles, partnering closely with hiring managers to define needs, attract exceptional talent, and make thoughtful hiring decisions. This is a hands-on remote role for someone who can build credibility quickly, source effectively in competitive markets, and bring structure and sound judgment to a fast-moving startup. What you’ll do Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, from intake and sourcing strategy through offer acceptance. Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, build interview plans, calibrate on talent, and drive timely decisions. Source and engage high-caliber passive candidates through direct outreach, referrals, networking, and recruiting partners. Tell a compelling r.Potential story and create a high-touch, thoughtful candidate experience. Advise leaders on market conditions, candidate availability, compensation, and process improvements. Maintain organized, accurate candidate data and activity in BambooHR. Help strengthen our recruiting operations, employer brand, referral program, and talent strategy as we grow. Use AI-enabled recruiting tools thoughtfully to improve speed and quality while maintaining strong human judgment. What we’re looking for 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within a high-growth startup or technology company. Demonstrated experience recruiting for AI, data platform, enterprise SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity teams, including roles across software engineering, data, infrastructure, security, and/or product engineering. Strong sourcing skills and a track record of engaging high-quality passive talent. A trusted, consultative approach with hiring managers and the ability to influence through clear, practical advice. Comfort working with urgency and ambiguity while maintaining a high bar for quality, follow-through, and candidate experience. Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills. Bonus points Experience helping build recruiting processes in an early-stage environment. Familiarity with BambooHR or a comparable ATS. An established technical talent network.
