As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain accurate access records. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies. Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records. Assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian access to distribution areas, including directing deliveries and communicating with site contacts as needed. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Have access control and badge experience, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
