Cost Accountant

Rosina Food Products is looking for a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing data, improving processes, and partnering with multiple departments to drive informed business decisions. You'll play a key role in pricing analysis, cost modeling, forecasting, and profitability reporting while supporting a growing food manufacturing organization.
What You'll Do

• Prepare pricing analyses for current and prospective customers.
• Analyze product costs and profitability to support business decisions.
• Set up finished goods and intermediate items within the ERP system.
• Participate in bi-weekly commodity cost review meetings with leadership.
• Assist with quarterly and annual pricing updates and material cost forecasting.
• Update activity-based costing models and maintain cost standards.
• Enter and maintain finished goods pricing within the ERP system.
• Prepare graphs, reports, and customer pricing justification documentation.
• Generate customer profitability reports.
• Support ROI analyses and other financial projects.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Leadership on strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably with activity-based costing.
• Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/accounting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• MBA or CPA is a plus but not required
