Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Process Analyst to perform data analysis, reporting, data validation, and business process improvement. This position will work with multiple datasets, develop analytical reports, identify trends and anomalies, and communicate findings to leadership and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis using established data exploration and analytical methodologies.
• Conduct trend analysis and identify unusual or outlying data points.
• Validate data and investigate potential data-quality issues.
• Explain analytical methodology, logic, and findings to leadership and project teams.
• Analyze operational, performance, and monitoring datasets.
• Prepare recurring quarterly and annual analytical reports.
• Develop, update, and maintain data management policies and procedures.
• Establish processes for data verification, validation, and maintenance.
• Support assigned projects and organizational initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research, development, implementation, and evaluation activities.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and government organizations as required.
• Prepare analytical summaries, reports, and presentations for leadership.
• Participate in training and professional development activities.
• Apply newly acquired technical skills and knowledge to assigned responsibilities.
• Perform other related project duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of research methodology, data collection, data manipulation, analysis, and presentation.
• Strong knowledge of SAS, Microsoft Excel, and Python .
• Ability to apply statistical and mathematical techniques to analyze data.
• Ability to recognize trends and develop projections based on analytical results.
• Strong report preparation and presentation skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with large-scale or complex data environments.
• Proficiency with SAS, Excel, data visualization tools, and statistical analysis software .
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and processes.

Required Education

• Master's Degree in Data Science, Public Health, Statistics, Health Informatics, or a related field.

Additional Skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain moderately complex technical information clearly.
• Experience working successfully within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and other project participants.
