School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Cottage Grove, Oregon

This in-person position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys making a positive impact across K-12 settings. Youll be stepping into a role previously held by a virtual provider, bringing your expertise to students who benefit from face-to-face interaction. The assignment is considered manageable, with a caseload composed mainly of elementary and high school students known for low behavioral needs.

Ideal candidates thrive in collaborative, school-based settings and are committed to providing exceptional speech and language services. Youll be working full-time, approximately 37.5-40 hours per week, serving students across multiple buildings within the district for the 26/27 school year.

Qualifications:

• Active licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in educational or school-based SLP roles (all student caseload sizes welcome)
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to adapt to varying educational levels (K-12) and school sites
• Willingness to be onsite exclusively, as this is not a virtual or hybrid position
• Capability to provide references verifying skills and licensure

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
• Support a low-behavioral caseload with a focus on student growth
