Aesthetic Medical Assistant

Job description:As our Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for supporting our in delivering excellent outcomes to every patient that visits Aere Beverly Hills. You will be responsible for supporting patient care by taking vital signs, obtaining medical histories and chief complaints, drawing and preparing blood samples, and assisting with injectables treatments.Responsibilities• Welcome Patients: Greet patients warmly, provide tours of the practice, and escort them to exam rooms.• Gather Patient Information: Obtain and record medical history, vital signs, and current medications accurately.• Prepare Patient Rooms: Set up rooms for scheduled procedures in compliance with health and safety protocols.• Anticipate Needs: Review clinicians’ schedules and anticipate daily requirements.• Assist with Treatment: Prepare patients for treatment by cleansing, numbing, taking before and after photos, and following clinician instructions.• Administer Injections: Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous Kenalog injections following safety protocols.• Perform Blood Draws: Conduct blood draws using sterile techniques.• Educate Patients: Collaborate with clinicians to ensure patients understand and can follow recommended treatment plans.• Maintain Hygiene and Cleanliness: Keep exam rooms clean before and after patient visits, stock rooms, and handle medical instrument cleaning and sterilization.• Manage Inventory: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, alert Clinical Manager to avoid shortages, and check expiration dates on all supplies.• Follow-Up: Conduct thoughtful follow-up calls with patients after treatments.• Document Patient Information: Complete accurate and thorough charting and patient documentation.• Ensure Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.• Support Concierge Team: Assist with check-in/check-out processes and provide support if the client concierge team is short-staYed.• Facility Maintenance: During downtime, help keep the facility clean and organized, including washing and folding laundry, and stocking supply shelves.• Other Duties: Please note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position.
