Maintain nursing staffing schedule Communicates staffing schedule changes Job Overview Ebenezer is looking for a Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Aurora on France TCU in Edina, MN! This position will include maintaining staffing schedules and documenting attendance for the nursing department. This schedule includes: 80 hours every two weeks Monday - Friday; 7AM-3:30PM or 6:30AM-3PM Aurora on France is a new, innovative senior community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora has 136 units offering a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. Responsibilities Maintain nursing staffing schedule Updates master nursing schedules in computer as needed Communicates staffing schedule changes Communicates open positions and tasks necessary steps to fill positions promptly Knowledge and understanding of overtime and bonuses per facility protocol, policies, and Adminstration direction Coordinate and manage staffing procedures and scheduling nursing personnel Develops Bi-Weekly and daily schedule under the direction of the DON and according to pre-established time frames Determines staffing needs/open positions Approves/denies employees schedule exchange Minimizes temporary agency usage by posting needes/open position lists on a timely basis, utilizing an availability list, and calling our own employees before contacting a temporary staffing agency Processes timecards assuring that time punches match each employee's schedule Notifies DON of status changes and permanent schedule change request Document attendance/tardiness reports, notifying supervisors of individuals requiring disciplinary action Maintain master attendance files Reports attandance issues to appropriate supervisor Monitors status of on call and pool employees if applicable Norifies DON of employee attendance concerns Other duties as assigned and directed Assists staff development with mandatory meeting, on site orientation and education, set up of phone calls and scheduling Required Qualifications GED Preferred Qualifications High School One to Three years of experience Health Unit Coordinator training Benefit Overview Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
