The IU Health North Endoscopy unit supports procedures with pediatric and adult patient populations in a fast-paced environment. We provide upper and lower GI procedures, endoscopy procedures, bronchoscopies, and mobility and pain management patient care services for pediatric and adult patients. We are a 4-suite department where our nurses collaborate with endoscopists, anesthesiologists, anesthesia RNs, and operating room assistants to provide quality care to our patients.*Referral Bonus EligibleShift:Full Time; DayshiftOn call requirement: Weekday Call Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM; Weekend Call Hours: Saturday and Sunday are covered 24 hours each day.Unit Successes/Designations:Multiple Daisy award nomineesIU Health Lasting Impressions nomineesIU Health Team awardUnit Culture Highlights:Fosters an environment for learningSupport from fellow team members and leadershipMentorship programQualifications:Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.Education: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience.
