Join one of the largest construction firms in the country (Engineering News-Record [ENR]: #1 in Power, #16 Top 50 Domestic Heavy Contractors, #13 Transportation Contractor).ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:Champion the Mastec beliefsSupport cross-divisional acquisition of new pursuits, and all pre-construction activities from initial client introductions, estimate strategy and development through final executive reviewsResponsible for the effective hiring, training, mentoring, rewarding, retaining, disciplining, appraising performance of team membersPlan, assign, and direct work, addressing complaints and resolving problemsLead, promote and comply with all Company safety policies and proceduresHold project teams accountable to project and divisional goals with a focus on safety, quality, planning, forecasting and executional excellenceParticipate in the development the strategic plan for the business unit and ensure its communication and implementationAchieve client satisfaction goals as put forth in the strategic planResponsible for overall relationship with owners, clients, vendors, and subcontractorsConfer with Safety Director on any jobsite safety issuesMaintain positive working relationships between field operations and shared servicesReview and approve requests for payment and change orders per the Authority MatrixProvide guidance to site team on resolution of conflicts such as; failure of subcontractors to perform, failure of materials to arrive, contract disputes, and trade conflictsInterface with all staff to maintain an open line of communication and reporting, monitor job progress, schedules and subcontractor performance, and coordinate the operation of the field through management of field personnelManage and supervise the teams who direct Project Managers and Field Superintendents by giving ongoing performance feedback and conducting annual performance appraisals in a timely mannerCorrelate team member's new ideas and help in implementing new policies and proceduresConfer with VP of Operations/EVP and other Sr. Management personnel on business planning, continuity and succession planningServe as member of the Executive team, attending executive staff meetings and contributing to the overall success of the organizationAttend trade shows and conferencesOther duties as requested by the EVP/PresidentSupervisory:Must be able to direct, manage, lead and mentor 5-10 direct employeesMust hold project teams accountable in all aspects of project deliveryEnsure field operations personnel receive his/her annual performance reviewQualificationsEducation and Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree (B.
