Transformation Manager

Position Purpose This position manages the optimization of operational outcomes by ensuring achievement of business goals through KPI alignment and continuous improvement. As an expert, the incumbent monitors performance of the overall business and its subsets and leadership. They identify performance gaps and develop and coordinate process improvement initiatives and other organizational responses to close these gaps. Nature and Scope Oversight and/or direct execution and delivery of performance programming initiatives including KPI alignment and tracking, identification, remediation of performance gaps (often through PI), and complex problem solving across multiple disciplines and divisions. Provide transparency of business health for stakeholders to ensure successful achievement of larger goals. Performs troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and PI for course correction when KPIs and incremental targets are not met. Significant Responsibilities Cooperate with senior administrative and clinical leadership to measure, monitor, and deploy performance goals among all levels of leadership and staff through creating KPI alignment. Identify improvement opportunities in complex, multi‑system environments using analytical and PI tools as well as industry standards and best practices, establish expectations and measures of success for improvement initiatives. Determine resources (financial, staffing, data, etc.) and/or tactics needed to accomplish goals, and manage, measure, and monitor the implementation of complex improvement efforts. With administrative and clinical leadership collaboration, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities through executing improvement efforts and strategy deployment from inception to completion, including maintaining a patient/customer‑centered approach and empowering the people who do the work to improve the work. Work directly with operational leaders to evaluate needs and determine methods for accomplishing business goals through efficient use of resources and team members. Formally and informally provide PI and performance consulting and coaching to leaders and staff of all levels. Work with others to demonstrate and communicate success, progress, and organizational learning. Serve as a technical and educational PI, performance, and strategy resource to the organization. May be asked to teach, present, educate, and facilitate as needed to small and large audiences, both internal and external. May be asked to coordinate a calendar and schedule of strategic and improvement activities across the organization. Facilitate necessary interactions and communications with all leadership and support stakeholders for efficient PI project execution (support stakeholders include Organizational Development, Service Excellence, Quality, Enterprise Data Analytics, Supply Chain, IT, etc.). Support the continued maturity of the TMO through adoption of changes and new directives and by proactively collaborating with other team members. Lead and monitor a breadth of improvement and strategic activities while taking ownership, assessing risks, and driving results. Work with physicians, staff, leaders, SMEs, and data analysts to achieve world‑class performance in all areas of focus. The incumbent is challenged to creatively help others think scientifically, meet constant deadlines, and expertly guide complex efforts to achieve strategic goals while ensuring TMO standards are maintained. Bachelor's degree required, preferably in health science or management, industrial and/or systems engineering, business, or organizational change. Master’s degree in a similar field or equivalent years of experience required. Experience: Five or more years’ experience in a PI or program/project management role with a proven track record of facilitating complex organizational projects and improvement efforts. Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills to interact with senior executives and other leaders required. Demonstrated experience with and understanding of health care operations, information and technology system complexities, project management, process design, strategy deployment and/or outcomes improvement preferred. License(s): None Certification(s): Must be certified in in‑house Lean program within 6 months of hire. Certification and/or experience in change management, lean production, project management (PMP), or related field is required. Computer / Typing: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, able to learn other software as needed and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job‑specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
