Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality plates, ensuring food safety standards. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other cooking tools.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary aide practices and fine dining standards is a plus.
• Strong skills in meal preparation, food handling, and knife techniques.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
