As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring patrol responsibilities across the property. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry of personnel, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site policies and posted requirements.
• Support the protection of utility-related equipment and infrastructure by reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
