The RA will work on complex proposals and awards that may involve multiple investigators and/or multiple sub awards. The RA will perform complex budget/resource analysis including forecasting, retrieving data from campus financial systems, organizing and validating data, and preparing comprehensive reports. The RA will work with a diverse set of customers and will report to the Financial Operations Manager. Our administrative unit provides business services for a large and complex operation encompassing extensive teaching, research, and outreach components for the Botanic Gardens, Earth & Planetary Sciences, and Environmental Sciences in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (CNAS). We also provide support for the UCR employees and campus purchases of the USDA Salinity Laboratory, as well as conference management for CNAS faculty conferences.The full salary range for the Research Administrator 2 is $34.17 - $49.44 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $34.17 - $36.29 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position.
