Supply Chain Manager | Battle Creek, MI

Salary Range: $99,000 - $146,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels, including forecasting, planning, and ordering to meet production demands.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Oversee logistics, warehousing, and transportation activities to ensure smooth flow of materials.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions and quality issues.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.
• Implement and manage supply chain technology solutions to enhance operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of optimizing inventory levels and reducing costs
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) preferred

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
• Familiarity with ERP implementation or optimization projects
