Registered Nurse - First Assist

Overview The RN First Assistant provides advanced surgical support to surgeons. RNFAs suture, harvest veins, and expose in ORs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in perioperative nursing and surgical procedures, with experience in operating room settings. Key Responsibilities Assist surgeons with suturing and hemostasis. Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments. Monitor patient vital signs during surgery. Document care in EHR systems like Epic. Maintain sterile fields and infection control. Collaborate with surgical teams. This role is crucial for surgical precision and patient safety.
