About the Role
The Company is in search of a visionary and collaborative Chief Information Officer (CIO) to spearhead a technology transformation that will position information technology as a strategic driver of institutional excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the modernization of the technology environment, developing and implementing a comprehensive technology roadmap, and ensuring that technology investments align with the institution's long-term strategic objectives. This role demands a dynamic technology executive with a proven track record in building high-performing teams, modernizing IT operations, and strengthening cybersecurity. The CIO will also be tasked with providing executive leadership for all information technology services, overseeing the College's multi-year IT strategic plan, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 7 years' of progressive IT leadership experience. Essential qualifications include a strong background in strategic planning, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, budgeting, vendor management, and technology project leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience with emerging technologies and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment. Desirable qualifications include a Master's degree, higher education IT leadership experience, and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or comparable. The CIO will serve as the principal technology advisor, working closely with campus leadership, faculty, staff, and external partners to develop technology solutions that enhance the student experience, support teaching and learning, and protect institutional information assets.
