In this role, you will support and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in both their homes and the community. Through hands-on care, meaningful daily engagement, and individualized support planning, you will play a critical role in enhancing residents' quality of life while fostering independence, dignity, and community connection.We are hiring full-time direct support professionals with our Group Homes program to work 40 hours/week with a schedule of Tuesday-Saturday. We currently have a first shift (7AM-3PM) open.Key Functions of the Direct Support Professional:Provide high quality personal care to residents including grooming, health care, dietary needs, emotional and spiritual needs.Communicate clearly in writing any medical concerns and daily progress regarding residents.Promote outside activities and community contact for residents.Perform household and housekeeping duties as required, including shopping, meal planning, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, snow removal, and other necessary tasks as assigned.Work with clients on Individual Service Plan (ISP) outcomes.Ensure familiarity with residents' backgrounds and, where possible, interactions with residents' families.
