Jr. Accountant

Junior Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant for a growth role within an established accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of properties and will be trained into further areas of the department. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities Process, track and record, accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments. Record cash receipts, tenant payments, and bank deposits. Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Reconcile tenant ledgers and investigate discrepancies. Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 02 years of accounting experience, preferably in multi-entity environment. Understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Starting salary between $55-60k depending on experience.
