Job Description
Title
Sterile Processing Technician - Travel

Schedule
- Shift: 5x8 Days, 06:00-14:30
- Rotating weekends required

Assignment Details
- Assignment length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
- Required certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA
- Preferred experience: Trauma Level I, children's hospital, community hospital

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform instrument decontamination and manual cleaning of surgical instruments and trays.
- Assemble instrument trays and sets in compliance with standards.
- Manage sterilization processes and testing, including steam and low-temperature methods.
- Reprocess scopes and perform high-level disinfection.
- Maintain familiarity with instrumentation management systems and loaner trays.

Compliance / Notes
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- Orientation: 3-day day-shift orientation.
