We are looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Tech to support daily warehouse and inventory operations. This contract opportunity with the potential for a permanent position is ideal for someone who has experience in a manufacturing setting and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and safe work habits. In this role, you will help move materials efficiently, maintain inventory control, and ensure outgoing and incoming shipments are handled correctly. The position requires consistent attention to detail, the ability to stay active throughout an 8-hour shift, and a commitment to keeping the work area clean and orderly.

Responsibilities:
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments with accuracy, including packing, labeling, receiving, and placing materials into designated stock locations.
• Manage material movement throughout the facility while maintaining organized location control and reliable inventory records.
• Use shipping and inventory systems such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx tools, and D365 to prepare documentation and track product flow.
• Support stocking activities and verify that items are stored correctly to help maintain efficient warehouse operations.
• Follow all workplace safety expectations each day, including proper use of required protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by completing regular housekeeping tasks throughout the shift.
• Assist with physical inventory activities and cycle or annual count efforts as needed to confirm stock accuracy.
• Perform duties that require standing, bending, reaching, and stretching consistently during a full 8-hour workday.• Previous experience in shipping and receiving operations is required.
• Background working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking, asset inventory processes, and physical inventory counts.
• Ability to use shipping platforms and warehouse systems, including UPS WorldShip, FedEx, and D365.
• Capable of safely handling materials and following established operational and safety procedures.
• Able to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform repetitive movement such as bending, stretching, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep work organized in a fast-paced setting.
