Our pediatric and adult congenital cardiology program has an interdisciplinary team of board-certified providers including a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon, pediatric interventional cardiologist, and cardiologists who focus on fetal cardiology, adult congenital cardiology, electrophysiology, congenital heart disease, and acquired heart diseases in both pediatric and adult patients. Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking BC/BE Pediatric and Adult Congenital physician to join our group. We seek an excellent pediatric or adult trained cardiologist with additional training in Adult Congenital Heart Disease.

Practice Highlights:

• Consult on ED, NICU and PICU patients at Presbyterian and partner hospitals
• Assist pediatric cardiology, electrophysiology, adult congenital, and pediatric heart surgery colleagues with the management of service and inpatient consults
• Weekly Schedule Monday- Friday 8 AM 5 PM
• Call 1:4
• Practice integrated in a thriving multispecialty clinic setting
• System-Wide EPIC EMR

What We're Seeking:

• Have documented state-of-the-art clinical expertise and demonstrated administrative and management ability with the drive to develop and lead a statewide comprehensive adult congenital heart disease program.
• Responsible for care for patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings.

Loan Forgiveness & Repayment Opportunities

Public Loan Service Forgiveness (PSLF) As a not-for-profit organization, many physician roles may qualify under the federal PSLF program. National Health Services Corps (NHSC) Physicians at eligible sites may qualify for up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment for a two-year service commitment in designated shortage areas. Competitive and subject to federal approval. New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program State-funded loan repayment of up to $75,000 per year for physicians and practicing in approved shortage areas. Competitive and subject to state approval and funding.

New Mexico Physician Tax Credit Eligible physicians may qualify for up to $10,000 per year in state income tax credits. MD/DO with board eligible or certification in Pediatric or Adult Cardiology. Board certification or eligibility in adult congenital heart disease preferred. Fellowship training or extensive experience in adult congenital heart disease. Eligible for licensure in the State of New Mexico
