Nurse Manager - Cath and EP Labs

Job Summary and Qualifications The Manager, Invasive Cardiology oversees the performance, daily operations, programs, and activities consistent with Senior Leadership’s objectives. Supervises all clinical and operations staff in the Cath Lab and EP Lab. Establishes objectives to accomplish department/service line/health system goals. Operates within budget parameters. Manages departmental operations to ensure services meet or exceed the expectations of customers. Oversees daily operations to ensure processes are efficient and effective in meeting department goals and objectives. Provides departmental leadership through people who have a direct impact on the department’s area of responsibility. Qualifications Required Education: BSN or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related healthcare field Preferred Education: MSN or Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related healthcare field (must be obtained within 3 years of hire) Required License: RN or appropriate registry for Technologist Required Certification: Certification in Leadership or Clinical Subspecialty (required within 2 years of hire) Required Experience: Strong operations experience with three years of technical and progressive leadership experience in the area. Demonstrated excellence in staff and physician relationship management. Financial management skills including budget development, capital budgeting, productivity management. Proficient with computer software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Intranet software, e-mail. Preferred Experience: Experience with Electronic Medical Record system(s) and Cardiovascular IT software.
