This full-time contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to support a small caseload of just 6 students in kindergarten through third grade. Your expertise as a Special Education Teacher will have a direct, positive effect on the lives of young learners and their families.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Moderate to Intense Intervention Specialist License required
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
• Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and student advocacy
• Ability to adapt instruction based on diverse learning needs and abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans for students
• Provide targeted instruction and interventions in both individual and small group settings
• Create a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress regularly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for special education
