Dermatology Health & Science Specialist VIT - Santa Barbara, CA

Pfizer seeks a field-based Dermatology Health & Science Specialist to drive adoption of dermatology therapies through strategic engagement with healthcare providers. The role combines specialty sales, clinical knowledge, and reimbursement expertise to expand patient access and support product launches across a California territory.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory strategies and drive demand for dermatology therapies among assigned accounts
• Build relationships with dermatologists, advanced practice providers, and office staff through in-person and virtual engagement
• Deliver clinical and product messaging using approved materials to influence prescribing decisions
• Navigate formulary access, reimbursement processes, and patient support to improve therapeutic access
• Support product launches and provide field insights to inform brand strategy and cross-functional collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years with associate's, 10+ with high school diploma)
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device sales, marketing, or healthcare provider experience
• Valid US driver's license with compliant driving record; no DUI/DWI in past 7 years
• Preferred: 3–5 years specialty sales experience in dermatology, immunology, or inflammation
• Understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement pathways
• Ability to engage key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts
• Digital selling capability and comfort with hybrid engagement models

Compensation: $108,600–$250,700 annual base plus sales incentive bonus
