Procurement Assistant opportunity available, for one of our clients, a Graduate School in Midtown Manhattan. This role will be fully onsite, Monday - Friday, for one to three months or possibly longer.
Our client would like to review and interview candidates with experience in Procurement, a minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or Office Administration (or a related field), and excellent computer skills. This position will report to the Director of Business Services and Operations, and will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Reviewing, preparing and submitting purchase requisitions, validating account codes
- Preparing purchase orders, payment and/or reimbursement requiests
- Obtaining vendor quotes and supporting documentation such as W9's and ACH/bank letters
- Working with facilities/security requests
- Providing general administrative support to the procurement team
- Assisting with accounts payables, payment of invoices, tracking and reporting information
- Reconciling expenses, and ensuring supporting documentation and account codes are accurate
