CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

Position Summary As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Access Safe Care, LLC, you play a crucial role in providing high‑quality, compassionate care to our clients. Working under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals, CNAs assist with daily living activities, monitor health status, and contribute to the overall well‑being of clients in home and community‑based settings. Key Responsibilities Client Care Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders as directed. Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans and ensure clients' physical and emotional comfort. Health Monitoring Regularly assess and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Report any changes in clients' health status promptly to the Nursing Supervisor or designated healthcare professional. Document care provided accurately and maintain up‑to‑date client records. Communication and Collaboration Maintain open and effective communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare team members. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other caregivers to ensure a coordinated approach to client care. Attend team meetings and contribute insights to enhance the overall quality of care. Safety and Comfort Implement safety measures to create a secure environment for clients. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting a positive and caring atmosphere. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized living space for clients. Professional Development Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and stay informed about industry best practices. Stay current on relevant regulations and guidelines governing CNAs in the healthcare field. Adherence to Policies and Procedures Follow established policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Report any incidents, accidents, or deviations from care plans promptly. Requirements Successful completion of a state‑approved Certified Nursing Assistant program. Current CNA certification and in good standing with the state licensing board. CPR and First Aid certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
