Job Overview \n

\nTE Connectivity's Maintenance team plays a critical role in keeping production running safely and efficiently. As a Maintenance Mechanic IV , you will perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This is a hands-on role suited for a highly skilled technician who can work independently and support continuous operations during overnight hours.\n

\nAll team members are expected to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.\n

Key Responsibilities \n
\n
\n

\n
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues with minimal supervision
\n
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
\n
• Provide technical support to maintenance and engineering teams
\n
• Read and work from schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
\n
• Troubleshoot and support basic PLC systems (ladder logic knowledge preferred)
\n
• Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities
\n
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standards
\n
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas
\n
• Support additional maintenance and facility-related tasks as needed
\n

What your background should look like \n
\n
\n

\n
• Option 1:
  \n Associate's degree (AAS) in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, or Industrial Technology + 2+ years of experience
\n
• Option 2:
  5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience , including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and motor controls
\n
• Option 3:
  \n Completion of a certified Journeyman or Apprenticeship program + 2+ years of experience
\n

Preferred Skills \n
\n

\n
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment in a plant environment
\n
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience (ladder logic)
\n
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
\n
• Intermediate computer skills for maintenance systems and documentation
\n
• Experience with general building / facility maintenance
\n

Work Environment \n

\n

\n
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving equipment
\n
• Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
\n
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
\n

COMPENSATION \n
\n• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $66,200- $82,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)\n
\n• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.\n
\n• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits\n
