Temporary/non‑tenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations, continuity of funding, and departmental/school need. Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on the needs of the department. Responsibilities Teach one to four courses per semester, with appointments based on student demand and departmental needs. Required Qualifications Minimum of a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field and 18 graduate hours in mathematics. For degrees in a closely related field, meet SACS accreditation standards to teach in a mathematics department. Preferred Qualifications A Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education. Previous teaching experience. Candidates selected for hire will be required to provide official transcripts from all degree‑granting universities.
