Position Responsibilities

The Administrator will be responsible for providing strong leadership and direction across all departments while ensuring the facility operates in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing facility

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to department managers and staff

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures

• Promote a culture focused on resident-centered care, dignity, safety, and quality of life

• Monitor clinical, operational, financial, and quality outcomes

• Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and overall facility performance

• Recruit, develop, and retain qualified staff

• Foster positive employee relations and maintain an engaged and accountable team

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and department leaders to address operational and resident care needs

• Oversee budgets, expenses, staffing, and other financial responsibilities

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

• Maintain effective communication with residents, families, employees, physicians, vendors, and community partners

• Respond appropriately to concerns, grievances, and operational challenges

• Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys and inspections

• Maintain a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and employees

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Home Administrator license in the applicable state

• Previous leadership or management experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting

• Strong knowledge of skilled nursing facility regulations and operational requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Strong understanding of budgeting, staffing, and facility operations

• Commitment to resident-centered care and quality improvement

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
