Clinical Pharmacist

Pharmacist Position in Las Vegas, NVWe are seeking experienced Pharmacists to support both outpatient and inpatient/ER pharmacy services within a hospital-based environment. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity based in the greater Las Vegas, NV metro area.This role is best aligned for a clinically strong pharmacist who is comfortable moving between care settings in a high-volume environment. You will verify and dispense across outpatient and inpatient workflows, counsel patients directly, monitor therapy for interactions and contraindications, and partner with physicians and nursing on care plans. The ideal candidate adapts quickly across service lines and brings the judgment to catch what a busy workflow might otherwise miss.Responsibilities:Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory complianceDispense medications and provide patient counseling on proper use, side effects, and interactionsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plansManage controlled substances in accordance with regulatory and compliance standardsMonitor medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions or contraindicationsMaintain accurate documentation within electronic health record systemsSupport clinical pharmacy programs and quality initiativesEnsure proper storage, handling, and inventory control of medicationsSupport workflow efficiency across outpatient and inpatient pharmacy operationsProvide guidance to pharmacy technicians, interns, and studentsMaintain compliance with all federal, state, and institutional pharmacy regulationsRespond to code and emergency medication needs in the inpatient and ER settingQualifications:Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy requiredActive pharmacist license in the state of Nevada required, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to startMinimum of 2 years of hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferredBasic Life Support certification requiredACLS and PALS certification required for inpatient and ER assignmentsStrong working knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and clinical applicationsExcellent communication and patient counseling skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsScheduleFull-time, on-site positionVariable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and swing shiftsFour-day workweek with guaranteed full-time hoursSalary Range: The salary range for this position is approximately $130,000 – $155,000 annually ($62.50 – $74.52 per hour), based on experience and qualifications.
