Hourly Rate of Pay: $14.00

Job Description:

• Ensure that all files are being checked out accordingly and re-file in the proper cabinet when returned to the file room.
• Perform Front Desk duties in absence of AAI and provide concise and correct information.
• Provide customer service to walk-in visitors and over the phone.
• Distribute mail accordingly and log incoming mail and faxes.
• Alphabetize and file documentation on a daily basis.
• Flexibility- openness to changes in work flow/processes.
• Consistently and respectfully interact with co-workers and customers
• Effective time management- efficient prioritization of duties, assignments and tasks.
• Protect and maintain confidentiality.

Work Experience in our Department supports the following Degree/Certificate Programs: This experience would support multiple Degree/Certificate Programs

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience with multi-line phone
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds
• Experience with Front Desk duties
• Must have computer knowledge and Office programs
• File review and record retention Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Show a financial aid eligible major (degree or certificate program) declared with the CSN Office of the Registrar,
• Meet Financial Aid Satisfactory Progress after each semester/term to qualify for employment within the academic year, and
• Show degree compliant enrollment for each semester/term for which funding is desired.
• Be enrolled in at least 6 credits and meet additional eligibility requirements of the Silver State Regents Service Program for summer semester/term employment.
• *Student's cannot work another part-time position within NSHE at the same time they are employed as a CSN College Work Study student.
