Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

$2815.20/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and hemodynamic conditions.
  
  
• 
  Administer and monitor insulin, cardiac, and vasoactive drips, ensuring precise titration and patient safety.
  
  
• 
  Perform starting IVs, venipuncture, and facilitate post-cardiac cath care in accordance with protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses utilizing EPIC electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to safety standards, including proper use of monitoring equipment and ensuring patient stability.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, with NIHSS completed prior to start date.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry or PCU experience in an acute care setting.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC documentation systems within the past 2 years.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong clinical skills including IV insertion, drips management, and cardiac monitoring.
  
  
• 
  Maintain reliable transportation; public transit is not accessible in the area.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work every other weekend, with flexibility for additional shifts if needed.
