Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit

12-hour night shifts. Weekend requirements are usually every other weekend. No block schedules available.

4-week contract. Floating to appropriate units as needed.

Active nursing license.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, including 1 year in telemetry.

Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheterization.

Familiarity with EPIC documentation system from within the past 2 years.

Provide care for patients in a progressive care setting, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as required.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatment.

Educate patients and their families on health and wellness issues.

Perform necessary clinical procedures including starting IVs and managing cardiac drips.

Parking details will be provided. Reliable transportation is required as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
